Sal 78:1

Give ear, O my people, to my law: incline your ears to the words of my mouth.

Maskila nataon' i Asafa. Henoy ny lalàko, ry oloko; atongilano ny sofinareo amin' ny tenin' ny vavako.

Fihirana nataon' i Asafa. Henoy ny fampianarako, ry vahoakako, atongilano amin' ny tenin' ny vavako, ny sofinao.

Poème. D' Asaph. Ecoute, ô mon peuple, ma loi; tends l' oreille aux paroles de ma bouche;

Sal 78:2

I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:

Hiloa-bava hilaza fanoharana aho; hanonona teny saro-pantarina fony taloha aho.

Hiloa-bava hilaza oha-teny aho, hamoaka ny zava-miafina tamin' ny fahataloha aho.

j' ouvre la bouche en paraboles, j'évoque du passé les mystères.

Sal 78:3

Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us.

Izay efa rentsika sy fantatsika,ary nambaran' ny razantsika tamintsika,

Izay efa renay sy nianaranay, izay efa nambaran' ny razantsika taminay,

Nous l' avons entendu et connu, nos pères nous l' ont raconté;

Sal 78:4

We will not hide them from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.

Dia tsy mba hafenintsika amin' ny zanany; fa hambarantsika amin' ny taranaka ho avy ny fiderana an' i Jehovah sy ny heriny ary ny fahagagana izay efa nataony.

dia tsy mba afeninay amin' ny zanany. Fa holazainay amin' ny taranaka ho avy ny fiderana an' ny Tompo, mbamin' ny heriny amam-pahagagana nataony.

nous ne le tairons pas à leurs enfants, nous le raconterons à la génération qui vient les titres de Yahvé et sa puissance, ses merveilles telles qu' il les fit;

Sal 78:5

For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:

Fa nanorina teni-vavolombelona teo amin' i Jakoba Izy, ary teo amin' Isiraely no nametrahany lalàna, izay nandidiany ny razantsika, hampahafantariny ny zanany;

Nametraka fitsipika teo amin' i Jakoba izy, nanisy lalàna amin' Israely; ka ny razantsika nasainy hampianatra izany amin' ny zanany,

il établit un témoignage en Jacob, il mit une loi en Israël; il avait commandé à nos pères de le faire connaître à leurs enfants,

Sal 78:6

That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children:

Mba hahafantatra izany ny taranaka ho avy - dia ny zaza mbola hateraka - ka hitsangana hitory izany amin' ny zanany kosa,

mba ho fantatry ny taranaka ho avy, dia ny zaza mbola hateraka sy hiposaka, ka hotantarain' izy ireo indray izany, amin' izay zanany.

que la génération qui vient le connaisse, les enfants qui viendront à naître. Qu' ils se lèvent, qu' ils racontent à leurs enfants,

Sal 78:7

That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments:

Mba hametraka ny fanantenany amin' Andriamanitra, ka tsy hanadino ny asany, fa hitandrina ny didiny;

Amin' izany dia hametraka ny fitokiany amin' Andriamanitra izy, tsy hohadinoiny ny asan' Andriamanitra, sy hotandremany ny didiny;

qu' ils mettent en Dieu leur espoir, qu' ils n' oublient pas les hauts faits de Dieu, et ses commandements, qu' ils les observent;

Sal 78:8

And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not stedfast with God.

Mba tsy ho tahaka ny razany, izay taranaka maditra sy miodina, izy, dia taranaka izay tsy nampiomana ny fony, sady tsy marina tamin' Andriamanitra ny fanahiny.

dia tsy hanahaka ny razany izay taranaka maditra sy miodina, taranaka manana fo mivadibadika, sy fanahy tsy miraikitra amin' Andriamanitra.

qu' ils ne soient pas, à l' exemple de leurs pères, une génération de révolte et de bravade, génération qui n' a point le coeur sûr et dont l' esprit n' est point fidèle à Dieu.

Sal 78:9

The children of Ephraim, being armed, and carrying bows, turned back in the day of battle.

Ny zanak' i Efraima, izay nitondra tsipìka hitifirany, dia niamboho tamin' ny andro fiadiana.

Ireo taranak' i Efraima, mpandefa tsipìka mahay, dia niamboho tamin' ny andro niadiana;

Les fils d' Ephraïm, tireurs d' arc, se retournèrent, le jour du combat;

Sal 78:10

They kept not the covenant of God, and refused to walk in his law;

Tsy nitandrina ny fanekena amin' Andriamanitra izy, ary tsy nety nandeha araka ny lalàny;

tsy nitandrina ny faneken' Andriamanitra, nandà tsy handeha araka ny lalàny,

ils ne gardaient pas l' alliance de Dieu, ils refusaient de marcher dans sa loi;

Sal 78:11

And forgat his works, and his wonders that he had shewed them.

Nanadino ny asany izy sy ny fahagagana izay nampahitàny azy.

nanadino ny zava-mahagaga nasehony azy ireo.

ils avaient oublié ses hauts faits, ses merveilles qu' il leur donna de voir

Sal 78:12

Marvellous things did he in the sight of their fathers, in the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan.

Teo anatrehan' ny razany no nanaovany fahagagana tany amin' ny tany Egypta, dia tany amin' ny tany lemak' i Zoana.

Dia nanao fahagagana teo anatrehan' ny razany izy, tany amin' ny tany Ejipta, tao an-tsahan' i Tanisa,

devant leurs pères il fit merveille en terre d' Egypte, aux champs de Tanis.

Sal 78:13

He divided the sea, and caused them to pass through; and he made the waters to stand as an heap.

Nampisaraka ny ranomasina Izy ka nitondra azy nita, dia nampijanona ny rano ho toy ny antontan-javatra.

nampisaraka ny ranomasina hampandehanany azy ireo; nitana ny rano mitsangana toy ny antontan-javatra miavosa.

Il fendit la mer et les transporta, il dressa les eaux comme une digue;

Sal 78:14

In the daytime also he led them with a cloud, and all the night with a light of fire.

Ary ny rahona no nitondrany azy raha antoandro, sy afo mahazava nony alina.

Nitarika azy tamin' ny rahona nony andro, ary tamin' ny afo mazava mandritra ny alina.

il les guida de jour par la nuée, par la lueur d' un feu toute la nuit;

Sal 78:15

He clave the rocks in the wilderness, and gave them drink as out of the great depths.

Namaky vatolampy tany an-efitra Izy, ka nampisotro azy nanaram-po tahaka ny amin' ny rano lalina.

Namaky ny vatolampy tany an' efitra, dia nomeny hosotroiny toy ny rano migorodana.

il fendit les rochers au désert, il les abreuva à la mesure du grand abîme;

Sal 78:16

He brought streams also out of the rock, and caused waters to run down like rivers.

Ary nampivoaka rano mandriaka avy tamin' ny harambato Izy ka nampirotsaka rano ho tahaka ny ony.

Nampiboiboika sakeli-drano tamin' ny vatolampy izy, dia nampandeha rano mandriaka be.

du roc il fit sortir des ruisseaux et descendre les eaux en torrents.

Sal 78:17

And they sinned yet more against him by provoking the most High in the wilderness.

Kanjo mbola nandroso nanota taminy ihany izy ireo, ka nampahatezitra ny Avo Indrindra tany an-efitra.

Nefa izy ireo mbola nanohy ny nanota taminy, sy nikomy tamin' ny Avo indrindra tany an' efitra.

Mais de plus belle ils péchaient contre lui et bravaient le Très-Haut dans le lieu sec;

Sal 78:18

And they tempted God in their heart by asking meat for their lust.

Dia naka fanahy an' Andriamanitra tam-pony izy, tamin' ny nilàny hanina araka ny nahaliana azy.

Naka fanahy an' Andriamanitra tao am-pony izy ireo, nangataka hanina araka ny fitsiriritany.

ils tentèrent Dieu dans leur coeur, demandant à manger à leur faim.

Sal 78:19

Yea, they spake against God; they said, Can God furnish a table in the wilderness?

Dia niteny nanohitra an' Andriamanitra izy ka nanao hoe: mahavelatra latabatra atý an-efitra va Andriamanitra?

Niteny nanohitra an' Andriamanitra izy nanao hoe: Hahavoatra latabatra atý an' efitra va Andriamanitra?

Or ils parlèrent contre Dieu; ils dirent : "Est-il capable, Dieu, de dresser une table au désert?

Sal 78:20

Behold, he smote the rock, that the waters gushed out, and the streams overflowed; can he give bread also? can he provide flesh for his people?

Indro, namely ny vatolampy Izy, dia nigororoana ny rano ka nandriaka; mahay manome mofo koa va Izy? Mahatonga hena ho an' ny olony va Izy?

Indro efa nikapoka ny vatolampy izy dia nandeha ny rano, ary nibosasaka ny ranon-driaka; ho azony atao koa va ny manome mofo na manome hena ho an' ny vahoakany?

"Voici qu' il frappe le rocher, les eaux coulent, les torrents s'échappent mais du pain, est-il capable d' en donner, ou de fournir de la viande à son peuple?"

Sal 78:21

Therefore the Lord heard this, and was wroth: so a fire was kindled against Jacob, and anger also came up against Israel;

Koa nony ren' i Jehovah izany, dia tezitra Izy; ary nisy afo nirehitra tamin' i Jakoba, sady nisy fahatezerana namely ny Isiraely,

Nahare izany Iaveh ka tezitra, ka nisy afo nirehitra namely an' i Jakoba, ary nisy hatezerana nipoitra namely an' Israely,

Alors Yahvé entendit, il s' emporta; un feu flamba contre Jacob, et puis la Colère monta contre Israël,

Sal 78:22

Because they believed not in God, and trusted not in his salvation:

Satria tsy nino an' Andriamanitra izy ireo ka tsy natoky ny famonjeny.

satria tsy nino an' Andriamanitra izy ireo, ary tsy natoky ny famonjeny.

car ils étaient sans foi en Dieu, ils étaient sans confiance en son salut.

Sal 78:23

Though he had commanded the clouds from above, and opened the doors of heaven,

Kanefa nandidy ny rahona tany ambony Izy, ary ny varavaran' ny lanitra no novohàny,

Kanefa nandidy ny rahona any ambony izy, ary nanokatra ny varavaran' ny lanitra.

Aux nuées d' en haut il commanda, il ouvrit les battants des cieux;

Sal 78:24

And had rained down manna upon them to eat, and had given them of the corn of heaven.

Dia nandatsaka mana teny aminy hohaniny Izy, ary varin' ny lanitra no nomeny azy.

Nandatsaka mana teny aminy hamelona azy izy, ary varin' ny lanitra no nomeny azy.

pour les nourrir il fit pleuvoir la manne, il leur donna le froment des cieux;

Sal 78:25

Man did eat angels' food: he sent them meat to the full.

Ny fihinan' ny mahery no nohanin' ny olona; nanaterany hanina hahavoky azy izy.

Dia samy nihinana ny mofon' ny mahery izy; nandefa hanina taminy izy, ka nataony voky izy ireo.

du pain des Forts l' homme se nourrit, il leur envoya des vivres à satiété.

Sal 78:26

He caused an east wind to blow in the heaven: and by his power he brought in the south wind.

Nampandeha ny rivotra avy any atsinanana teny amin' ny lanitra Izy ary ny heriny no nitondrany ny rivotra avy any atsimo.

Nampifofofofo ny rivotra avy atsinanana teny an-danitra izy, nitarika ny rivotra avy atsimo tamin' ny heriny izy;

Il fit lever dans les cieux le vent d' est, il fit venir par sa puissance le vent du sud,

Sal 78:27

He rained flesh also upon them as dust, and feathered fowls like as the sand of the sea:

Dia nampilatsahany hena betsaka hoatra ny vovoka izy sy voro-manidina hoatra ny fasiky ny ranomasina,

dia nandatsaka hena, toy ny vovoka, teny aminy, sy vorona manana elatra hoatry ny fasiky ny ranomasina.

il fit pleuvoir sur eux la viande comme poussière, la volaille comme sable des mers,

Sal 78:28

And he let it fall in the midst of their camp, round about their habitations.

Ka nalatsany teny afovoan' ny tobiny, manodidina ny fitoerany.

Nalatsany teny afovoan' ny tobiny ireny manodidina ny lainy.

il en fit tomber au milieu de son camp, tout autour de sa demeure.

Sal 78:29

So they did eat, and were well filled: for he gave them their own desire;

Dia nihinana izy ireo ka voky tsara, ary izay nilainy dia nomeny azy.

Dia nihinana izy ireo, ka nivoky loatra; nomen' Andriamanitra azy izay niriny.

Ils mangèrent et furent bien rassasiés, il leur servit ce qu' ils désiraient;

Sal 78:30

They were not estranged from their lust. But while their meat was yet in their mouths,

Nefa tsy niala tamin' ny filàny izy, ary mbola teo am-bavany ihany ny haniny;

Raha mbola tsy nanarana ny fahalianany izy ireo, sady mbola teo am-bavany ny haniny,

eux n'étaient pas revenus de leur désir, leur manger encore en la bouche,

Sal 78:31

The wrath of God came upon them, and slew the fattest of them, and smote down the chosen men of Israel.

Dia nirehitra taminy ny fahatezeran' Andriamanitra, ka nahafatesany ny tremalahy teo aminy, ary naripany ny zatovolahin' ny Isiraely.

dia nihatra tamin' izy ireo ny hatezeran' Andriamanitra; nojanjanany ho faty ireo nivoky indrindra, naripany koa ny zatovolahin' Israely.

que la colère de Dieu monta contre eux il massacrait parmi les robustes, abattait les cadets d' Israël.

Sal 78:32

For all this they sinned still, and believed not for his wondrous works.

Fa na dia izany rehetra izany aza, dia mbola nanota ihany izy ireo ka tsy nino ny fahagagana nataony.

Sal 78:33

Therefore their days did he consume in vanity, and their years in trouble.

Sal 78:34

When he slew them, then they sought him: and they returned and enquired early after God.

Raha novonoiny izy ireo, dia nitady hahalala an' Andriamanitra izy, ary niverina nikatsaka Azy.

Nony nasiany tamin' ny fahafatesana izy ireo vao nitady azy, niverina izy ka dodona hahita an' Andriamanitra indray;

Quand il les massacrait, ils le cherchaient, ils revenaient, s' empressaient près de lui.

Sal 78:35

And they remembered that God was their rock, and the high God their redeemer.

Dia nahatsiaro izy fa Andriamanitra no Vatolampiny, ary Andriamanitra Avo Indrindra no Mpanavotra azy.

Ils se souvenaient : Dieu leur rocher, Dieu le Très-Haut, leur rédempteur!

Sal 78:36

Nevertheless they did flatter him with their mouth, and they lied unto him with their tongues.

Kanefa nanao vava malefaka taminy ireo, ary ny lelany no nandaingàny taminy.

Kanjo namitaka azy tamin' ny teniny izy ireo, ary nandainga taminy ny lelany;

Mais ils le flattaient de leur bouche, mais de leur langue ils lui mentaient,

Sal 78:37

For their heart was not right with him, neither were they stedfast in his covenant.

Ary ny fony tsy niorina taminy; eny tsy nitana ny fanekeny izy.

Sal 78:38

But he, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, and destroyed them not: yea, many a time turned he his anger away, and did not stir up all his wrath.

Nefa Andriamanitra kosa be famindram-po, dia mamela heloka ka tsy mandringana; eny nahatsindry fo tokoa Izy, ka tsy nofohaziny avokoa ny fahavinirany,

Lui alors, dans sa tendresse, effaçait les torts au lieu de dévaster; sans se lasser, il revenait de sa colère au lieu de réveiller tout son courroux.

Sal 78:39

For he remembered that they were but flesh; a wind that passeth away, and cometh not again.

Fa nahatsiaro Izy fa nofo ihany ireo, dia rivotra izay mandalo ka tsy miverina intsony.

Il se souvenait : eux, cette chair, souffle qui s' en va et ne revient pas.

Sal 78:40

How oft did they provoke him in the wilderness, and grieve him in the desert!

Impiry akory izy ireo no efa niodina taminy tany an-efitra, ka nampalahelo Azy tany amin' ny tany foana!

Impiry akory moa izy ireo no niodina taminy tany an' efitra, nampahatezitra azy tany amin' ny tany mangingina!

Que de fois ils le bravèrent au désert, l' offensèrent parmi les solitudes!

Sal 78:41

Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel.

Naka fanahy an' Andriamanitra mandrakariva izy, ka nampalahelo ny Iray Masin' ny Isiraely.

Naka fanahy an' Andriamanitra tsy an-kijanona izy ireo, ary nihatsy an' ilay Masin' Israely!

Ils revenaient tenter Dieu, affliger le Saint d' Israël,

Sal 78:42

They remembered not his hand, nor the day when he delivered them from the enemy.

Tsy mba nahatsiaro ny tànany izy, dia ny andro izay nanavotany azy tamin' ny fahavalo,

Tsy tsaroany intsony ny heriny, ny andro nanafahany azy tamin' ny mpampahory,

sans nul souvenir de sa main, ni du jour qu' il les sauva de l' adversaire.

Sal 78:43

How he had wrought his signs in Egypt, and his wonders in the field of Zoan.

Izay nanaovany famantarana tany Egypta, sy fahagagana tany an-tany lemak' i Zoana:

izay nanehoany ny fahagagany tany Ejipta, ny asany mahagaga tany an-tsahan' i Tanisa.

Lui qui en Egypte mit ses signes, ses miracles aux champs de Tanis,

Sal 78:44

And had turned their rivers into blood; and their floods, that they could not drink.

Nampody ny oniny ho rà Izy, ary ny reniranony tsy azony nisotroana.

Nanova ny oniny ho ra izy, ka tsy azony nosotroina ny reniranony.

fit tourner en sang leurs fleuves, leurs ruisseaux pour les priver de boire.

Sal 78:45

He sent divers sorts of flies among them, which devoured them; and frogs, which destroyed them.

Nandefa lalitra betsaka hamely azy Izy, ka nandany azy ireny, ary sahona, ka nanimba azy ireny.

Nalefany hamely azy ireo ny moka izay nihinana azy, ary ny sahona izay nahafaty azy.

Il leur envoya des taons qui dévoraient, des grenouilles qui les infestaient;

Sal 78:46

He gave also their increase unto the caterpiller, and their labour unto the locust.

Dia nanome ny vokatry ny taniny ho an' ny sompanga Izy, ary ny sasany ho an' ny valala.

Natolony ho an' ny valala ny vokatry ny taniny, dia ho an' ireny andiany marobe, ny vokatry ny asany.

il livra au criquet leurs récoltes et leur labeur à la sauterelle;

Sal 78:47

He destroyed their vines with hail, and their sycomore trees with frost.

Namono ny voalobony tamin' ny havandra Izy, ary ny aviaviny tamin' ny havandra vaventy.

Nolevoniny tamin' ny havandra ny voalobony, ary tamin' ny vongan-kavandra ny aviaviny.

il massacra par la grêle leur vigne et leurs sycomores par la gelée;

Sal 78:48

He gave up their cattle also to the hail, and their flocks to hot thunderbolts.

Dia nanolotra ny biby fiompiny ho an' ny havandra Izy, ary ny omby aman' ondriny ho an' ny varatra.

Nafoiny ho an' ny havandra ny biby fiompiny, ary hoasian' ny varatra ny andiam-bibiny.

il remit à la grêle leur bétail et leurs troupeaux aux éclairs.

Sal 78:49

He cast upon them the fierceness of his anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels among them.

Nandatsaka ny fahatezerany mirehitra taminy Izy: eny, fahavinirana sy fahatezerana ary fampahoriana, dia anjely andiany mitondra loza.

Nalefany hamely azy ny afon' ny fahatezerany, dia ny fahavinirana, fisafoahana, ary fampahoriana, tafik' anjely mitondra loza avokoa.

Il lâcha sur eux le feu de sa colère, emportement et fureur et détresse, un envoi d' anges de malheur;

Sal 78:50

He made a way to his anger; he spared not their soul from death, but gave their life over to the pestilence;

Namboatra lalana ho an' ny fahatezerany Izy, ary tsy niaro ny fanahin' ireo tamin' ny fahafatesana, fa nanolotra ny ainy ho lanin' ny areti-mandringana;

Nanampatra ny fahatezerany rehetra izy, ka tsy namonjy ny fanahin' izy ireo tamin' ny fahatatesana, nanolotra ny ain' izy ireo tamin' ny fandringanana.

il fraya un sentier à sa colère. Il n' exempta pas leur âme de la mort, à la peste il remit leur vie;

Sal 78:51

And smote all the firstborn in Egypt; the chief of their strength in the tabernacles of Ham:

Ary namely ny lahimatoa rehetra tany Egypta Izy, dia ny voalohan' ainy tany an-dain' i Hama;

Namely ny lahimatoa rehetra tany Ejipta izy, dia ny santatry ny fahatanjahana tao an-dain' i Kama.

il frappa tout premier-né en Egypte, la fleur de la race aux tentes de Cham.

Sal 78:52

But made his own people to go forth like sheep, and guided them in the wilderness like a flock.

Fa namindra toerana ny olony toy ny ondry Izy, ary nitondra azy tany an-efitra toy ny ondry andiany.

Nampandeha toy ny ondry, ny vahoakany, nentiny tany an' efitra toy ny andiam-biby fiompy.

Il poussa comme des brebis son peuple, les mena comme un troupeau dans le désert;

Sal 78:53

And he led them on safely, so that they feared not: but the sea overwhelmed their enemies.

Nentiny soa aman-tsara izy ireo ka tsy mba natahotra; fa ny fahavalony kosa voasaron' ny ranomasina.

Notarihiny tamim-pahalalana izy ireo, ka tsy nanan-java-mahatahotra, ary ny fahavalony kosa natelin' ny ranomasina.

il les guida sûrement, ils furent sans crainte, leurs ennemis, la mer les recouvrit.

Sal 78:54

And he brought them to the border of his sanctuary, even to this mountain, which his right hand had purchased.

Nentiny izy ho tonga hatrany an-tsisin-taniny masina, hatrany an-tendrombohitra azon' ny tànany ankavanana.

Il les amena vers son saint territoire, la montagne que sa droite a conquise;

Sal 78:55

He cast out the heathen also before them, and divided them an inheritance by line, and made the tribes of Israel to dwell in their tents.

il chassa devant eux les païens, il leur marqua au cordeau un héritage; il installa sous leurs tentes les tribus d' Israël.

Sal 78:56

Yet they tempted and provoked the most high God, and kept not his testimonies:

Na dia izany aza, mbola naka fanahy sy nihantsy an' Andriamanitra Avo indrindra ihany izy ireo, ka tsy nitandrina ny didiny.

Ils tentaient, ils bravaient Dieu le Très-Haut, se refusaient à garder ses témoignages;

Sal 78:57

But turned back, and dealt unfaithfully like their fathers: they were turned aside like a deceitful bow.

ils l' indignaient avec leurs hauts lieux, par leurs idoles ils le rendaient jaloux.

Sal 78:59

When God heard this, he was wroth, and greatly abhorred Israel:

il délaissa la demeure de Silo, la tente où il demeurait chez les hommes.

Sal 78:61

And delivered his strength into captivity, and his glory into the enemy' s hand.

Dia natolony ho babo ny heriny ary ny voninahiny ho eo an-tànan' ny fahavalo.

Il livra sa force à la captivité, aux mains de l' ennemi sa splendeur;

Sal 78:62

He gave his people over also unto the sword; and was wroth with his inheritance.

Dia nanolotra ny olony ho an' ny sabatra Izy; ary tezitra Indrindra tamin' ny lovany Izy.

Nafoiny ho an' ny sabatra ny vahoakany, ka tezitra tamin' ny lovany izy.

il remit son peuple à l'épée, contre son héritage il s' emporta.

Sal 78:63

The fire consumed their young men; and their maidens were not given to marriage.

Ny zatovolahiny dia lanin' ny afo; ary ny zatovovaviny tsy mba nanaovana hiram-panambadiana.

Nolevonin' ny afo ny zatovolahiny, ary tsy nahare ny hiram-panambadiana ny zatovovaviny.

Ses cadets, le feu les dévora, ses vierges n' eurent pas de chant de noces;

Sal 78:64

Their priests fell by the sword; and their widows made no lamentation.

Lavon' ny sabatra ny mpisorony, ary tsy nigogogogo ny mpitondratena tany aminy.

ses prêtres tombèrent sous l'épée, ses veuves ne firent pas de lamentations.

Sal 78:65

Then the Lord awaked as one out of sleep, and like a mighty man that shouteth by reason of wine.

Dia nifoha ny Tompo tahaka ny anankiray avy natory, tahaka ny lehilahy mahery izay miantsoantso azon' ny divay.

Nifoha, tahaka ny olona natory, ny Tompo, sahala amin' ny mpiady mahery leon-divay.

Il s'éveilla comme un dormeur, le Seigneur, comme un vaillant terrassé par le vin,

Sal 78:66

And he smote his enemies in the hinder parts: he put them to a perpetual reproach.

Dia namely ny fahavalony hiamboho Izy ka nahafa-baraka azy mandrakizay.

Dia nasiany avy eo aoriana ny fahavalony, ka nataony afa-baraka mandrakizay.

il frappa ses ennemis au dos, les livra pour toujours à la honte.

Sal 78:67

Moreover he refused the tabernacle of Joseph, and chose not the tribe of Ephraim:

Dia nanary ny lain' i Josefa Izy, ary ny firenen' i Efraima tsy nofidiny.

Tsy tiany kosa anefa ny lain' i Josefa, ary nariany ny fokon' i Efraima.

Il rejeta la tente de Joseph, il n'élut pas la tribu d' Ephraïm;

Sal 78:68

But chose the tribe of Judah, the mount Zion which he loved.

Fa nifidy ny firenen' i Joda kosa Izy, dia ny tendrombohitra Ziona izay tiany.

Fa ny fokon' i Jodà no nofidiny, dia ny tendrombohitr' i Siona izay efa tiany.

il élut la tribu de Juda, la montagne de Sion qu' il aime.

Sal 78:69

And he built his sanctuary like high palaces, like the earth which he hath established for ever.

Dia nanao ny fitoerany masina ho tahaka ny havoana Izy, tahaka ny tany izay naoriny ho mandrakizay.

Dia naoriny ny fitoerany masina, toy ny havoana manakatra ny lanitra, tahaka ny tany naorina ho mandrakizay.

Il bâtit comme les hauteurs son sanctuaire, comme la terre qu' il fonda pour toujours.

Sal 78:70

He chose David also his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds:

Dia nifidy an' i Davida mpanompony ka naka azy avy tany am-balan' ondry;

Il élut David son serviteur, il le tira des parcs à moutons,

Sal 78:71

From following the ewes great with young he brought him to feed Jacob his people, and Israel his inheritance.

Tany amin' ny fiandrasany ny ondry ampianahana no nakàny azy, mba hiandry an' i Jakoba olony sy Isiraely lovany;

naka azy teny am-piandrasana reniondry, mba hiandry an' i Jakoba vahoakany, sy Isarely lovany.

de derrière les brebis mères il l' appela pour paître Jacob son peuple et Israël son héritage;

Sal 78:72

So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skilfulness of his hands.

Dia niandry ireo araka ny hitsin' ny fony izy, ka nitondra azy araka ny fahaizan' ny tànany.

Dia nitarika azy araka ny fahitsian' ny fony, Davida, ary nitondra azy tamin' ny tànana kinga.

il les paissait d' un coeur parfait, et d' une main sage les guidait.
