Jer / Jr 34:1

The word which came unto Jeremiah from the Lord, when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and all his army, and all the kingdoms of the earth of his dominion, and all the people, fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities thereof, saying,

Teny avy amin' ny Tompo, tonga tamin' i Jeremia, fony Nabokodonozora, mpanjakan' i Babilona mbamin' ny tafiny rehetra, ny fanjakana rehetra amin' ny tany nanoa azy ho mpanapaka, ary ny firenena rehetra, niady tamin' i Jerosalema mbamin' ny tanàna rehetra momba azy, teny nanao hoe:

Parole qui fut adressée à Jérémie de la part de Yahvé, à l'époque où Nabuchodonosor, roi de Babylone, et toute son armée, tous les royaumes de la terre soumis à sa domination et tous les peuples étaient en lutte contre Jérusalem et contre toutes ses villes.

Thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel; Go and speak to Zedekiah king of Judah, and tell him, Thus saith the Lord; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire:

Izao no lazain' i Jehovah, Andriamanitry ny Isiraely: Mandehana, lazao amin' i Zedekia, mpanjakan' ny Joda, ka ambarao aminy hoe: Izao no lazain' i Jehovah: Indro, hatolotro eo an-tànan' ny mpanjakan' i Babylona ity tanàna ity, ka hodorany amin' ny afo izy;

Izao no lazain' ny Tompon' ny tafika, Andriamanitr' Israely: Mandehana hianao milaza amin' i Sedesiasa, mpanjakan' i Jodà, ka ataovy hoe: Izao no lazain' ny Tompo: Indro hatolotro ny mpanjakan' i Babilona ity tanàna ity ka hodorany.

Ainsi parle Yahvé, le Dieu d' Israël : Va! Tu parleras à Sédécias, roi de Juda, et tu lui diras : Ainsi parle Yahvé. Voici que moi, je vais livrer cette ville aux mains du roi de Babylone et il l' incendiera.

Jer / Jr 34:3

And thou shalt not escape out of his hand, but shalt surely be taken, and delivered into his hand; and thine eyes shall behold the eyes of the king of Babylon, and he shall speak with thee mouth to mouth, and thou shalt go to Babylon.

ary ianao tsy ho afa-mandositra ny tànany, fa ho voasambotra tokoa ka hatolotra eo an-tànany; ary ny masonao hahita ny mason' ny mpanjakan' i Babylona, dia hiteny mifanatrika aminao izy, sady ho tonga any Babylona ianao.

Ary hianao tsy ho afa-mandositra ny tànany, fa ho voasambotra marina tokoa hianao sy ho voatolotra eo an-tànany; ny masonao, hahita ny mason' ny mpanjakan' i Babilona, izy hiteny mifanatrika aminao, ary hianao handeha ho any Babilona.

Et toi, tu n'échapperas pas à sa main, mais tu seras bel et bien capturé et remis entre ses mains. Tu pourras regarder le roi de Babylone les yeux dans les yeux et lui pourra te parler face à face. Puis tu iras à Babylone.

Jer / Jr 34:4

Yet hear the word of the Lord, O Zedekiah king of Judah; Thus saith the Lord of thee, Thou shalt not die by the sword:

Nefa henoy ny tenin' i Jehovah, ry Zedekia, mpanjakan' ny Joda. Izao no lazain' i Jehovah ny aminao: Tsy ho fatin-tsabatra ianao.

Toutefois, écoute la parole de Yahvé, Sédécias, roi de Juda! Ainsi parle Yahvé à ton sujet : tu ne mourras pas par l'épée,

Jer / Jr 34:5

But thou shalt die in peace: and with the burnings of thy fathers, the former kings which were before thee, so shall they burn odours for thee; and they will lament thee, saying, Ah lord! for I have pronounced the word, saith the Lord.

c' est en paix que tu mourras. Et comme il y eut des parfums pour tes ancêtres, les rois de jadis qui furent avant toi, de même on en brûlera en ton honneur, et pour toi on récitera la lamentation : "Hélas! Seigneur!" C' est moi qui le déclare, oracle de Yahvé.

Then Jeremiah the prophet spake all these words unto Zedekiah king of Judah in Jerusalem,

Dia nolazain' i Jeremia mpaminany tamin' i Zedekia, mpanjakan' ny Joda. tany Jerosalema izany teny rehetra izany.

Le prophète Jérémie rapporta toutes ces paroles à Sédécias, roi de Juda, à Jérusalem;

Jer / Jr 34:7

When the king of Babylon' s army fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities of Judah that were left, against Lachish, and against Azekah: for these defenced cities remained of the cities of Judah.

l' armée du roi de Babylone menait alors le combat contre Jérusalem et contre toutes les villes de Juda qui tenaient encore, à savoir Lakish et Azéqa, car parmi les villes de Juda, celles-ci restaient des places fortes.

This is the word that came unto Jeremiah from the Lord, after that the king Zedekiah had made a covenant with all the people which were at Jerusalem, to proclaim liberty unto them;

Jer / Jr 34:9

That every man should let his manservant, and every man his maidservant, being an Hebrew or an Hebrewess, go free; that none should serve himself of them, to wit, of a Jew his brother.

chacun devait renvoyer libres ses esclaves hébreux, hommes et femmes, personne ne devait plus tenir en servitude un Judéen, son frère.

Jer / Jr 34:10

Now when all the princes, and all the people, which had entered into the covenant, heard that every one should let his manservant, and every one his maidservant, go free, that none should serve themselves of them any more, then they obeyed, and let them go.

Ka dia nanaiky ny mpanapaka rehetra sy ny vahoaka rehetra izay nanao ny fanekena, samy handefa ny ankizilahiny sy ny ankizivaviny ho afaka mba tsy hampanompoany azy intsony; eny, nanaiky izy, ka samy nandefa azy ho afaka.

Tous les princes et tout le peuple qui avaient participé à cette alliance avaient accepté de renvoyer libres chacun ses esclaves, hommes et femmes, et de ne plus les tenir en servitude; ils avaient accepté et les avaient renvoyés.

Jer / Jr 34:11

But afterward they turned, and caused the servants and the handmaids, whom they had let go free, to return, and brought them into subjection for servants and for handmaids.

Kanjo taorian' izany dia nanenina izy, ka naveriny indray ireo ankizilahy sy ankizivavy izay efa nalefany ho afaka ireo, dia nandevoziny ho ankizilahiny sy ho ankizivaviny indray.

Therefore the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,

Thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel; I made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondmen, saying,

Izao no lazain' i Jehovah, Andriamanitry ny Isiraely: Izaho efa nanao fanekena tamin' ny razanareo tamin' ny andro nitondrako azy nivoaka avy tany amin' ny tany Egypta hiala tamin' ny trano nahandevozana nanao hoe:

Ainsi parle Yahvé, le Dieu d' Israël. J' ai conclu avec vos pères, quand je les tirai du pays d' Egypte, de la maison de servitude, une alliance en disant

At the end of seven years let ye go every man his brother an Hebrew, which hath been sold unto thee; and when he hath served thee six years, thou shalt let him go free from thee: but your fathers hearkened not unto me, neither inclined their ear.

Isam-pito taona samia mandefa ny Hebreo rahalahiny, izay namidy taminao; ka rehefa nanompo anao enin-taona izy, dia alefaso ho afaka; nefa ny razanareo tsy nihaino Ahy ka nanongilana ny sofiny.

"Au bout de sept années, chacun de vous libérera son frère hébreu qui se sera vendu à toi; six ans il sera ton esclave, puis tu le renverras libre de chez toi." Mais vos pères ne m' ont pas écouté et n' ont pas prêté l' oreille.

Jer / Jr 34:15

And ye were now turned, and had done right in my sight, in proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbour; and ye had made a covenant before me in the house which is called by my name:

But ye turned and polluted my name, and caused every man his servant, and every man his handmaid, whom he had set at liberty at their pleasure, to return, and brought them into subjection, to be unto you for servants and for handmaids.

Puis vous avez changé d' avis et, profanant mon nom, vous avez repris chacun votre esclave, homme ou femme, que vous aviez renvoyés libres de leur personne, et les avez forcés à redevenir vos esclaves.

Jer / Jr 34:17

Therefore thus saith the Lord; Ye have not hearkened unto me, in proclaiming liberty, every one to his brother, and every man to his neighbour: behold, I proclaim a liberty for you, saith the Lord, to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the famine; and I will make you to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.

Koa izao no lazain' i Jehovah: Hianareo tsy nihaino Ahy ka tsy nety nitory fanafahana ho an' ny rahalahinareo sy ny namanareo avy; dia, indro, miantso fanafahana ho anareo kosa Aho, hoy Jehovah, nefa ho an' ny sabatra sy ny areti-mandringana ary ny mosary; ary hatolotro ho mpanjenjena any amin' ny fanjakana rehetra amin' ny tany ianareo.

Koa izao no lazain' ny Tompo: Tsy nihaino ahy hianareo fa tsy nitory fahafahana ho an' ny rahalahiny sy ho an' ny namany avy; koa indro izaho kosa mitory fahafahana ho anareo, - teny marin' ny Tompo. Halefako hianareo ho amin' ny sabatra sy ny pesta ary ny mosary, sady hataoko ho zavatra fampitahorana any amin' ny fanjakana rehetra ambonin' ny tany.

C' est pourquoi, ainsi parle Yahvé. Vous ne m' avez pas obéi en rendant la liberté chacun à son frère, chacun à son prochain. Eh bien, moi, je vais rendre la liberté contre vous oracle de Yahvé à l'épée, à la peste et à la famine, et faire de vous un objet d'épouvante pour tous les royaumes de la terre.

Jer / Jr 34:18

And I will give the men that have transgressed my covenant, which have not performed the words of the covenant which they had made before me, when they cut the calf in twain, and passed between the parts thereof,

Et ces hommes qui ont trahi mon alliance, qui n' ont pas observé les termes de l' alliance conclue par eux en ma présence, je vais les rendre pareils au veau qu' ils ont coupé en deux pour passer entre ses morceaux.

The princes of Judah, and the princes of Jerusalem, the eunuchs, and the priests, and all the people of the land, which passed between the parts of the calf;

Les princes de Juda et ceux de Jérusalem, les eunuques, les prêtres et tout le peuple du pays, qui sont passés entre les morceaux du veau,

I will even give them into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their life: and their dead bodies shall be for meat unto the fowls of the heaven, and to the beasts of the earth.

dia hatolotro eo an-tànan' ny fahavalony sy eo an-tànan' izay mitady ny ainy, ary ho fihinan' ny voro-manidina sy ny bibi-dia ny fatiny.

Hatolotro eo an-tànan' ny fahavalony sy eo an-tànan' ireo mitady ny ainy izy ireo, ho hanin' ny voromanidina amam-bibin' ny tany ny fatiny.

je les livrerai aux mains de leurs ennemis et aux mains de ceux qui en veulent à leur vie : leurs cadavres serviront de nourriture aux oiseaux du ciel et aux bêtes de la terre.

Jer / Jr 34:21

And Zedekiah king of Judah and his princes will I give into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their life, and into the hand of the king of Babylon' s army, which are gone up from you.

Ary Zedekia, mpanjakan' ny Joda, sy ny mpanapaka dia hatolotro eo an-tànan' ny fahavalony sy eo an-tànan' izay mitady ny ainy ary eo an-tànan' ny miaramilan' ny mpanjakan' i Babylona, izay efa lasa niala taminareo.

Sedesiasa mpanjakan' i Jodà sy ireo loholona ao aminy hatolotra eo an-tànan' ny fahavalony, eo an-tànan' ireo mitady ny ainy, eo an-tànan' ny tafik' i Babilona izay efa lasa niala taminareo.

Je livrerai aussi Sédécias, roi de Juda, et ses princes aux mains de leurs ennemis, aux mains de ceux qui en veulent à leur vie et aux mains de l' armée du roi de Babylone qui vient de se replier loin de vous.

Jer / Jr 34:22

Behold, I will command, saith the Lord, and cause them to return to this city; and they shall fight against it, and take it, and burn it with fire: and I will make the cities of Judah a desolation without an inhabitant.

Indro, handidy Aho, hoy Jehovah, ary hampivereniko ho amin' ity tanàna ity ireo; ary hasiany ity ka ho afany, dia hodorany amin' ny afo; ary ny tanànan' ny Joda dia hofoanako tsy hisy mponina.

Indro manome didy aho, - teny marin' ny Tompo - hampiverina azy hamely ity tanàna ity indray, dia hiady aminy izy ka hahafaka azy sy handoro azy, ary hataoko zary efitra tsy misy mponina ny tanànan' i Jodà.

Voici, je vais donner un ordre oracle de Yahvé et les ramener vers cette ville pour qu' ils l' attaquent, la prennent et l' incendient. Et je ferai des villes de Juda une solitude où personne n' habite.
