And Dinah the daughter of Leah, which she bare unto Jacob, went out to see the daughters of the land.

Gen / Jen 34:2

And when Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite, prince of the country, saw her, he took her, and lay with her, and defiled her.

And his soul clave unto Dinah the daughter of Jacob, and he loved the damsel, and spake kindly unto the damsel.

And Shechem spake unto his father Hamor, saying, Get me this damsel to wife.

Ary Sikema nilaza tamin' i Hemora rainy hoe: Alaovy ho vadiko io zazavavy io.

Sichem parla ainsi à son père Hamor : Prends-moi cette petite pour femme.

And Jacob heard that he had defiled Dinah his daughter: now his sons were with his cattle in the field: and Jacob held his peace until they were come.

Jacob avait appris qu' il avait déshonoré sa fille Dina, mais comme ses fils étaient aux champs avec son troupeau, Jacob garda le silence jusqu'à leur retour.

Gen / Jen 34:6

And Hamor the father of Shechem went out unto Jacob to commune with him.

Dia nivoaka Hamora, rain' i Sekema, nankany amin' i Jakoba hidinika taminy.

Dia nivoaka hiresaka amin' i Jakoba Hemora rain' i Sikema;

And the sons of Jacob came out of the field when they heard it: and the men were grieved, and they were very wroth, because he had wrought folly in Israel in lying with Jacob' s daughter: which thing ought not to be done.

Lorsque les fils de Jacob revinrent des champs et apprirent cela, ces hommes furent indignés et entrèrent en grand courroux de ce qu' il avait commis une infamie en Israël en couchant avec la fille de Jacob : cela ne doit pas se faire !

Gen / Jen 34:8

And Hamor communed with them, saying, The soul of my son Shechem longeth for your daughter: I pray you give her him to wife.

Ary Hamora nidinika taminy ka nanao hoe: Ny fon' i Sekema zanakolahy efa raiki-pitia amin' ny zanakareo-vavy; koa masìna ianareo, mba omeo azy ho vadiny.

Hamor leur parla ainsi : Mon fils Sichem s' est épris de votre fille, veuillez la lui donner pour femme.

Gen / Jen 34:9

And make ye marriages with us, and give your daughters unto us, and take our daughters unto you.

Ary aoka hifanambady anaka isika: omeo anay ny zanakareo vavy, ary alao ho anareo kosa ny zanakai-vavy,

Aoka hifanambady anaka isika: ny zanakavavinareo homenareo ho anay; ny anay kosa halainareo ho anareo.

Alliez-vous à nous : vous nous donnerez vos filles et vous prendrez les nôtres pour vous.

Gen / Jen 34:10

And ye shall dwell with us: and the land shall be before you; dwell and trade ye therein, and get you possessions therein.

Dia hiara-monina aminay ianareo; ary indro ny tany eo anoloanareo; oneno, dia manaova varotra ao, ary aoka ho isan' ny tompon-tany ianareo.

Vous demeurerez avec nous et le pays vous sera ouvert : vous pourrez y habiter, y circuler, vous y établir.

And Shechem said unto her father and unto her brethren, Let me find grace in your eyes, and what ye shall say unto me I will give.

Sichem dit au père et aux frères de la jeune fille : Que je trouve grâce à vos yeux et je donnerai ce que vous me demanderez !

Gen / Jen 34:12

Ask me never so much dowry and gift, and I will give according as ye shall say unto me: but give me the damsel to wife.

na dia harena be sy zavatra betsaka aza no asainareo homeko, dia homeko ihany araka izay holazainareo amiko; fa omeo ahy ny zazavavy ho vadiko.

na harem-be asainareo haloako, na fanomezana be vava, izay tononinareo homeko avokoa, fa omeo ho vadiko ny zazavavy.

Imposez-moi une grosse somme, comme prix et comme présent, je payerai autant que vous me demanderez, mais donnez-moi la jeune fille pour femme !

Gen / Jen 34:13

And the sons of Jacob answered Shechem and Hamor his father deceitfully, and said, because he had defiled Dinah their sister:

Gen / Jen 34:14

And they said unto them, We cannot do this thing, to give our sister to one that is uncircumcised; for that were a reproach unto us:

Ils leur dirent : Nous ne pouvons pas faire une chose pareille : donner notre soeur à un homme incirconcis, car c' est un déshonneur chez nous.

Gen / Jen 34:15

But in this will we consent unto you: If ye will be as we be, that every male of you be circumcised;

Izao ihany no azonay hanekena anareo: Raha ho tahaka anay ianareo, ka hoforana ny lehilahy rehetra aminareo,

Izao ihany no azonay hanekena ny hatakareo; raha tonga tahaka anay hianareo, ka hoforàna avokoa ny lehilahy eo aminareo.

Nous ne vous donnerons notre consentement qu'à cette condition : c' est que vous deveniez comme nous et fassiez circoncire tous vos mâles.

Gen / Jen 34:16

Then will we give our daughters unto you, and we will take your daughters to us, and we will dwell with you, and we will become one people.

dia homenay anareo ny zanakai-vavy, ary ny zanakareo-vavy kosa halainay ho anay, dia hiara-monina aminareo izahay, ka ho firenena iray isika.

Amin' izay hianareo homenay ny zanakay vavy; izahay haka ny anareo ho anay. Dia honina ao aminareo izahay, ka ho firenena iray ihany isika.

Alors nous vous donnerons nos filles et nous prendrons les vôtres pour nous, nous demeurerons avec vous et formerons un seul peuple.

Gen / Jen 34:17

But if ye will not hearken unto us, to be circumcised; then will we take our daughter, and we will be gone.

Fa raha tsy hanaraka ny teninay ianareo ka hoforana dia halainay ny zanakai-vavy, ka handeha izahay.

Fa raha tsy mety hihaino anay hianareo sy hifora dia halainay ny zanakay vavy ka handeha izahay.

Mais si vous ne nous écoutez pas, touchant la circoncision, nous prendrons notre fille et nous partirons.

And their words pleased Hamor, and Shechem Hamor' s son.

Gen / Jen 34:19

And the young man deferred not to do the thing, because he had delight in Jacob' s daughter: and he was more honourable than all the house of his father.

Le jeune homme n' hésita pas à faire la chose, car il était épris de la fille de Jacob; or il était le plus considéré de toute sa famille.

Gen / Jen 34:20

And Hamor and Shechem his son came unto the gate of their city, and communed with the men of their city, saying,

Ary Hamora sy Sekema zananilahy nankeo amin' ny vavahadin' ny tanànany, dia niteny tamin' ny mponina tao an-tanànany ka nanao hoe:

Dia nankeo am-bavahadin' ny tanàna Hemora sy Sikema zanany, ka niteny tamin' ny mponina tao an-tanànany nanao hoe:

Hamor et son fils Sichem allèrent à la porte de leur ville et parlèrent ainsi aux hommes de leur ville :

Gen / Jen 34:21

These men are peaceable with us; therefore let them dwell in the land, and trade therein; for the land, behold, it is large enough for them; let us take their daughters to us for wives, and let us give them our daughters.

Ireo olona ireo mipetraka tsara eto amintsika, dia aoka honina eto amin' ny tany izy ka hanao varotra eto; fa. indro, ny tany dia malalaka eo anoloany; ny zananivavy dia aoka halaintsika ho vadintsika, ary ny zanatsika vavy dia aoka homentsika azy kosa.

Ces gens-là sont bien intentionnés : qu' ils demeurent avec nous dans le pays, ils y circuleront, le pays sera ouvert pour eux dans toute son étendue, nous prendrons leurs filles pour femmes et nous leur donnerons nos filles.

Gen / Jen 34:22

Only herein will the men consent unto us for to dwell with us, to be one people, if every male among us be circumcised, as they are circumcised.

Nefa izao monja ihany no hanaovan' ireo lehilahy ireo fanekena amintsika mba hiara-monina amintsika ho firenena iray: mba hoforana koa, hono, ny lehilahy rehetra eto amintsika tahaka izay namorana azy ireo.

Shall not their cattle and their substance and every beast of their' s be our' s? only let us consent unto them, and they will dwell with us.

Tsy ho antsika va ny omby aman' ondriny sy ny fananany mbamin' ny biby fiompiny rehetra? Aoka hanaiky ny teniny ihany isika, dia hiara-monina amintsika izy.

Tsy ho antsika va ny biby fiompiny sy ny fananany rehetra ary ny biby mpitondra entany rehetra? Nefa aoka hoekentsika aloha ny teniny ary aoka izy hiorim-ponenana eto amintsika.

Leurs troupeaux, leurs biens, tout leur bétail ne seront-ils pas à nous ? Donnons-leur seulement notre consentement, pour qu' ils demeurent avec nous.

Gen / Jen 34:24

And unto Hamor and unto Shechem his son hearkened all that went out of the gate of his city; and every male was circumcised, all that went out of the gate of his city.

Ary izay rehetra nivoaka tamin' ny vavahadin' ny tanànany dia nanaiky ny tenin' i Hamora sy Sekema zanany; ary noforana ny lehilahy rehetra, dia izay rehetra nivoaka tamin' ny vavahadin' ny tanànany.

Neken' izay rehetra mivoaka ny vavahadin' ny tanàna ny tenin' i Hemora sy Sikema zanany, ka dia noforàna ny lehilahy rehetra mivoaka ny vavahadin' ny tanàna.

Hamor et son fils Sichem furent écoutés par tous ceux qui franchissaient la porte de leur ville, et tous les mâles se firent circoncire.

Gen / Jen 34:25

And it came to pass on the third day, when they were sore, that two of the sons of Jacob, Simeon and Levi, Dinah' s brethren, took each man his sword, and came upon the city boldly, and slew all the males.

Ary nony tamin' ny andro fahatelo, rehefa ilay narary mafy iny izy ireo, dia samy nitondra ny sabany ny zanak' i Jakoba roa lahy, dia Simeona sy Levy, anadahin' i Dina, ka niakatra sahisahy tao an-tanàna, dia namono ny lehilahy rehetra tao.

Or, le troisième jour, tandis qu' ils étaient souffrants, les deux fils de Jacob, Siméon et Lévi, les frères de Dina, prirent chacun son épée et marchèrent sans opposition contre la ville : ils tuèrent tous les mâles.

And they slew Hamor and Shechem his son with the edge of the sword, and took Dinah out of Shechem' s house, and went out.

Ary Hamora sy Sekema zananilahy dia novonoiny tamin' ny lelan-tsabatra koa; dia naka an' i Dina tao an-tranon' i Sekema izy ka lasa nandeha.

Ils passèrent au fil de l'épée Hamor et son fils Sichem, enlevèrent Dina de la maison de Sichem et partirent.

The sons of Jacob came upon the slain, and spoiled the city, because they had defiled their sister.

Ny maty, nosavàn' ireto zanak' i Jakoba; ny tanàna, nobaboiny, noho ny nandotoana ny anabaviny.

Les fils de Jacob assaillirent les blessés et pillèrent la ville, parce qu' on avait déshonoré leur soeur.

They took their sheep, and their oxen, and their asses, and that which was in the city, and that which was in the field,

Ny ondry aman' osiny sy ny ombiny sy ny borikiny mbamin' izay rehetra tao an-tanàna sy izay rehetra tany an-tsaha dia nahorony avokoa;

Nahorony avokoa na ondry na omby na ampondra, na ny tao an-tanàna, na ny tany an-tsaha.

Ils prirent leur petit et leur gros bétail et leurs ânes, ce qui était dans la ville et ce qui était aux champs.

And all their wealth, and all their little ones, and their wives took they captive, and spoiled even all that was in the house.

Gen / Jen 34:30

And Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, Ye have troubled me to make me to stink among the inhabitants of the land, among the Canaanites and the Perizzites: and I being few in number, they shall gather themselves together against me, and slay me; and I shall be destroyed, I and my house.

Jacob dit à Siméon et Lévi : Vous m' avez mis en mauvaise posture en me rendant odieux aux habitants du pays, les Cananéens et les Perizzites : j' ai peu d' hommes, ils se rassembleront contre moi, me vaincront et je serai anéanti avec ma maison.

Gen / Jen 34:31

And they said, Should he deal with our sister as with an harlot?

Fa hoy kosa izy: Moa ny anabavinay havela hataony toy ny vehivavy janga va?

Ary hoy izy ireo: Moa ho azo hatao toy ny vehivavy janga foana va ny anabavinay?

Mais ils répliquèrent : Devait-on traiter notre soeur comme une prostituée ? Jacob à Béthel.
