And it came to pass, when Solomon had finished the building of the house of the Lord, and the king' s house, and all Solomon' s desire which he was pleased to do,

That the Lord appeared to Solomon the second time, as he had appeared unto him at Gibeon.

Yahvé apparut une seconde fois à Salomon comme il lui était apparu à Gabaôn.

1Mp 9:3

And the Lord said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.

Ary hoy Jehovah taminy: Efa reko ny vavakao sy ny fifonanao izay nataonao teo anatrehako; koa efa nohamasiniko ity trano nataonao ity mba hampitoerana ny anarako mandrakizay: ary ho amin' ity mandrakariva ny masoko sy ny foko.

Yahvé lui dit : " J' exauce la prière et la supplication que tu m' as présentées. Je consacre cette maison que tu as bâtie, en y plaçant mon Nom à jamais ; mes yeux et mon coeur y seront toujours.

1Mp 9:4

And if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments:

Pour toi, si tu marches devant moi comme a fait ton père David, dans l' innocence du coeur et la droiture, si tu agis selon tout ce que je te commande et si tu observes mes lois et mes ordonnances,

1Mp 9:5

Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.

je maintiendrai pour toujours ton trône royal sur Israël, comme je l' ai promis à ton père David quand j' ai dit : "Il ne te manquera jamais un descendant sur le trône d' Israël" ;

1Mp 9:6

But if ye shall at all turn from following me, ye or your children, and will not keep my commandments and my statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods, and worship them:

Fa raha miala amin' ny fanarahana Ahy kosa ianareo na ny zanakareo ka tsy mitandrina ny lalàko sy ny didiko, izay nataoko teo anoloanareo, fa mandeha manompo andriamanikafa sy miankohoka eo anatrehany,

Fa raha mivily miala amiko kosa hianao na ny tenanareo na ny zanakareo, ka tsy mitandrina ny didy aman-dalàko izay nataoko teo anoloanareo, ka mandeha manompo andriamani-kafa sy miankohoka eo anatrehany,

mais si vous m' abandonnez, vous et vos fils, si vous n' observez pas les commandements et les lois que je vous ai proposés, si vous allez servir d' autres dieux et leur rendez hommage,

1Mp 9:7

Then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people:

dia hofongorako tsy ho amin' ny tany izay nomeko azy ny Isiraely; ary ity trano izay nohamasiniko ho an' ny anarako ity dia hofongorako tsy ho eo imasoko; ary ny Isiraely ho tonga ohabolana sy ambentinteny any amin' ny firenena rehetra;

dia hofongorako eo amin' ny tany nomeko azy Israely, hariako tsy ho eo imasoko intsony ny trano nohamasiniko ho an' ny anarako, hanjary fandatsa sy ambentin-tenin' ny firenena rehetra Israely;

alors je retrancherai Israël du pays que je lui ai donné ; ce Temple que j' ai consacré à mon Nom, je le rejetterai de ma présence, et Israël sera la fable et la risée de tous les peuples.

1Mp 9:8

And at this house, which is high, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss; and they shall say, Why hath the Lord done thus unto this land, and to this house?

Ce Temple en ruines, tous ceux qui le longeront seront stupéfaits ; ils siffleront et diront : "Pourquoi Yahvé a-t-il fait cela à ce pays et à ce Temple ?"

1Mp 9:9

And they shall answer, Because they forsook the Lord their God, who brought forth their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and have taken hold upon other gods, and have worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath the Lord brought upon them all this evil.

et l' on répondra : "Parce qu' ils ont abandonné Yahvé leur Dieu qui avait fait sortir leurs pères du pays d'Égypte, qu' ils se sont attachés à d' autres dieux et qu' ils leur ont rendu hommage et culte, voilà pourquoi Yahvé leur a envoyé tous ces maux". "

1Mp 9:10

And it came to pass at the end of twenty years, when Solomon had built the two houses, the house of the Lord, and the king' s house,

Au bout des vingt années pendant lesquelles Salomon construisit les deux édifices, le Temple de Yahvé et le palais royal

1Mp 9:11

(Now Hiram the king of Tyre had furnished Solomon with cedar trees and fir trees, and with gold, according to all his desire,) that then king Solomon gave Hiram twenty cities in the land of Galilee.

(Hirama, mpanjakan' i Tyro, nanome an' i Solomona hazo sedera sy hazo kypreso ary volamena, araka izay rehetra niriny), dia nomen' i Solomona tanàna roa-polo tany amin' ny tany Galilia kosa Hirama.

Hiram, roi de Tyr, lui avait fourni du bois de cèdre et de genévrier, et de l' or, tant qu' il en avait voulu , alors le roi Salomon donna à Hiram vingt villes dans le pays de Galilée.

1Mp 9:12

And Hiram came out from Tyre to see the cities which Solomon had given him; and they pleased him not.

Ary Hirama niala tany Tyro hizaha ny tanàna izay nomen' i Solomona azy, ka tsy tiany ireny.

Dia niala tany Tira Hirama hizaha ny tanàna nomen' i Salomona azy, ary tsy tiany ireny,

Hiram vint de Tyr pour voir les villes que Salomon lui avait données, et elles ne lui plurent pas ;

1Mp 9:13

And he said, What cities are these which thou hast given me, my brother? And he called them the land of Cabul unto this day.

Dia hoy izy: Hatao inona ireo tanàna nomenao ahy ireo, ry rahalahiko? Ary ireny dia natao hoe tany Kobola mandraka androany.

ka hoy izy: Edrey, itony tanàna mba nomenao ahy, ry rahalahy! Ary nataony hoe tany Kabola no anaran' ireny mandrak' androany.

il dit : " Qu' est-ce que ces villes que tu m' as données, mon frère ? " et, jusqu'à ce jour, on les appelle " le pays de Kabul ".

1Mp 9:14

And Hiram sent to the king sixscore talents of gold.

Ary Hirama nampanatitra talenta volamena roa-polo amby zato ho an' ny mpanjaka.

Efa nampanatitra talenta volamena roapolo amby zato ho an' i Salomona Hirama.

Hiram envoya au roi cent vingt talents d' or.

1Mp 9:15

And this is the reason of the levy which king Solomon raised; for to build the house of the Lord, and his own house, and Millo, and the wall of Jerusalem, and Hazor, and Megiddo, and Gezer.

Voici ce qui concerne la corvée que le roi Salomon leva pour construire le Temple de Yahvé, son propre palais, le Millo et le mur de Jérusalem, Haçor, Megiddo, Gézèr,

1Mp 9:16

For Pharaoh king of Egypt had gone up, and taken Gezer, and burnt it with fire, and slain the Canaanites that dwelt in the city, and given it for a present unto his daughter, Solomon' s wife.

And Solomon built Gezer, and Bethhoron the nether,

And all the cities of store that Solomon had, and cities for his chariots, and cities for his horsemen, and that which Solomon desired to build in Jerusalem, and in Lebanon, and in all the land of his dominion.

And all the people that were left of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites, which were not of the children of Israel,

1Mp 9:21

Their children that were left after them in the land, whom the children of Israel also were not able utterly to destroy, upon those did Solomon levy a tribute of bondservice unto this day.

1Mp 9:22

But of the children of Israel did Solomon make no bondmen: but they were men of war, and his servants, and his princes, and his captains, and rulers of his chariots, and his horsemen.

1Mp 9:23

These were the chief of the officers that were over Solomon' s work, five hundred and fifty, which bare rule over the people that wrought in the work.

But Pharaoh' s daughter came up out of the city of David unto her house which Solomon had built for her: then did he build Millo.

And three times in a year did Solomon offer burnt offerings and peace offerings upon the altar which he built unto the Lord, and he burnt incense upon the altar that was before the Lord. So he finished the house.

Salomon offrait trois fois par an des holocaustes et des sacrifices de communion sur l' autel qu' il avait dressé à Yahvé et il faisait fumer devant Yahvé ses offrandes brûlées. Il maintenait le Temple en bon état.

1Mp 9:26

And king Solomon made a navy of ships in Eziongeber, which is beside Eloth, on the shore of the Red sea, in the land of Edom.

Ary Solomona mpanjaka nanao sambo tao Ezion-gebera, izay ao anilan' i Elota, ao amoron' ny Ranomasina Mena, amin' ny tany Edoma.

Ary Salomona mpanjaka nanao sambo maro tao Asiongabera, akaikin' i Ailata amoron' ny ranomasina Mena, amin' ny tany Edoma.

Le roi Salomon arma une flotte à Éçyôn-Gébèr, qui est près d'Élat, sur le bord de la mer Rouge, au pays d'Édom.

1Mp 9:27

And Hiram sent in the navy his servants, shipmen that had knowledge of the sea, with the servants of Solomon.

And they came to Ophir, and fetched from thence gold, four hundred and twenty talents, and brought it to king Solomon.
