Jer / Jr 18:1

The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,

Parole qui fut adressée à Jérémie par Yahvé en ces termes

Jer / Jr 18:2

Arise, and go down to the potter' s house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.

Mitsangàna, ka midina ho any amin' ny tranon' ny mpanefy tanimanga, ary any no hampandrenesako anao ny teniko.

Mitsangàna hianao, ka midìna ho any an-tranon' ny mpanefy tanimanga, ary any aho hampandre anao ny teniko.

"Debout! Descend chez le potier et là, je te ferai entendre mes paroles."

Jer / Jr 18:3

Then I went down to the potter' s house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.

Dia nidina tany amin' ny tranon' ny mpanefy tanimanga aho, ary, indro, nanao ny asany teo amin' ny ankodina fanaovana izy.

Dia nidina ho any an-tranon' ny mpanefy tanimanga aho; ka indro izy nanao ny tao-zavany teo amin' ny ankodina fiasàny.

Je descendis chez le potier et voici qu' il travaillait au tour.

Jer / Jr 18:4

And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.

Ary raha simba ny vilany ataony araka izay mazàna miseho amin' ny tanimanga eny an-tànan' ny mpanefy dia ataony vilany hafa indray, araka izay tian' ny mpanefy tanimanga hanaovana azy.

Ary tsy vanona kosa ny vilany nataony, araka izay mety hahazo ny tanimanga eny an-tànan' ny mpanefy, ka nanao vilany hafa, araka izay tiany hatao indray, ny mpanefy tanimanga.

Mais le vase qu' il fabriquait fut manqué, comme cela arrive à l' argile dans la main du potier. Il recommença et fit un autre vase, ainsi qu' il paraissait bon au potier.

Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

Dia tonga tamiko ny tenin' i Jehovah hoe :

Dia tonga tamiko ny tenin' ny Tompo toy izao:

Alors la parole de Yahvé me fut adressée en ces termes

Jer / Jr 18:6

O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the Lord. Behold, as the clay is in the potter' s hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.

Moa tsy mahazo manao aminareo toy ny ataon' ity mpanefy tanimanga ity va Aho, ry taranak' i Isiraely? hoy Jehovah. Indro, toy ny tanimanga eo an-tanan' ny mpanefy azy, dia toy izany ianareo eo an-tanako, ry taranak' Isiraely.

Moa aho tsy mahazo manao aminareo, toraky ny nataon' io mpanefy tanimanga io, ry taranak' Israely? - teny marin' ny Tompo. Eny, toy ny tanimanga eo an-tànan' ny mpanefy, hianareo eo an-tànako, ry taranak' Israely.

Ne suis-je pas capable d' agir envers vous comme ce potier, maison d' Israël? oracle de Yahvé. Oui, comme l' argile dans la main du potier, ainsi êtes-vous dans ma main, maison d' Israël!

Jer / Jr 18:7

At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it;

Vetivety Aho dia milaza firenena sy fanjakana hongotako sy hazerako ary horavako;

Matetika aho miteny ny amin' ny firenena iray, ny amin' ny fanjakana iray hoe: hongotana, hazera, horavana.

Tantôt je parle, à propos d' une nation ou d' un royaume, d' arracher, de renverser et d' exterminer;

Jer / Jr 18:8

If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.

Nefa raha miala amin' ny ratsy izany firenena noteneniko izany, dia hanenenako kosa ny loza izay nokasaiko hamelezako azy.

Nefa kosa raha ny firenena nolazaiko hasiana, mba miverina miala amin' ny haratsiany, dia hanenenako ny loza nokasaiko hamelezana azy.

mais si cette nation, contre laquelle j' ai parlé, se convertit de sa méchanceté, alors je me repens du mal que j' avais résolu de lui infliger.

Jer / Jr 18:9

And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it;

Ary vetivety kosa Aho dia milaza firenena sy fanjakana haoriko sy hamboleko;

Matetika aho miteny amin' ny firenena iray, na amin' ny fanjakana iray, hoe: haorina sy hambolena.

Tantôt je parle, à propos d' une nation ou d' un royaume, de bâtir et de planter,

If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.

Nefa raha manao izay ratsy eo imasoko izy ka tsy mihaino ny feoko, dia hanenenako kosa ny soa izay nolazaiko hanasoavako azy.

Kanjo raha manao izay ratsy eo imasoko izany firenena izany, tsy mihaino ny feoko, dia hanenenako ny soa nolazaiko hatao azy.

mais si cette nation fait ce qui est mal à mes yeux en refusant d'écouter ma voix, alors je me repens du bien que j' entendais lui faire.

Jer / Jr 18:11

Now therefore go to, speak to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the Lord; Behold, I frame evil against you, and devise a device against you: return ye now every one from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good.

Koa amin' izany, lazao amin' ny Joda sy amin' ny mponina eto Jerosalema hoe: Izao no lazain' i Jehovah: Indro, Izaho mamorona loza hihatra aminareo ary mihevitra izay hamelezako anareo; Koa samia miala amin' ny lalany ratsy avy ianareo, ary ataovy tsara ny lalanareo sy ny ataonareo.

Ary amin' izao, mitenena amin' ny olona any Jodà, sy amin' ny mponina ao Jerosalema, manao hoe: Izao no lazain' ny Tompo: Indro aho mamorona loza hanjo anareo, sy mieritra izay hevitra hamelezana anareo. Koa samia hianareo miala amin' ny làlany ratsy, sy manitsy ny làlanareo aman' asanareo avy.

Maintenant, parle donc ainsi aux hommes de Juda et aux habitants de Jérusalem : "Ainsi parle Yahvé. Voyez, je prépare contre vous un malheur, contre vous je médite un plan. Détournez-vous donc chacun de votre voie mauvaise, améliorez vos voies et vos oeuvres."

Jer / Jr 18:12

And they said, There is no hope: but we will walk after our own devices, and we will every one do the imagination of his evil heart.

Nefa hoy ireo: Kivy izahay izany! Fa mbola hanaraka ny hevitray ihany izahay, eny, samy hanao araka ny ditry ny fo ratsinay avy izahay rehetra.

Izy ireo anefa manao hoe: Tsinontsinona izany! Izahay dia hanaraka ny hevitray ihany, sy hanao araka ny ditran' ny fo ratsinay avy ihany.

Mais ils vont dire : "Inutile! Nous suivrons nos propres plans; chacun agira selon l' obstination de son coeur mauvais."

Jer / Jr 18:13

Therefore thus saith the Lord; Ask ye now among the heathen, who hath heard such things: the virgin of Israel hath done a very horrible thing.

Koa izao no lazain' i Jehovah: anontanio any amin' ny jentilisa hoe: Iza no nandre zavatra toy izany? Zavatra mahatsiravina indrindra no nataon' Isiraely virijina.

Noho izany izao no lazain' ny Tompo: Manontania ny firenena hianareo: Iza no mbola nahare izay zavatra toy izany? Fahavetavetana mahatsiravina no nataon' ny virjinin' Israely.

C' est pourquoi, ainsi parle Yahvé Enquêtez donc chez les nations, qui entendit rien de pareil? Elle a commis trop d' horreurs, la Vierge d' Israël.

Jer / Jr 18:14

Will a man leave the snow of Lebanon which cometh from the rock of the field? or shall the cold flowing waters that come from another place be forsaken?

Hitsahatra tsy ho eo amin' ny vatolampy any an-tsaha va ny oram-panalan' i Libanona, ary mety ho ritra va ny rano maria sady mangatsiaka avy amin' ny tany hafa?

Hitsahatra tsy ho eo amin' ny vatolampy eny an-tany lemaka, va ny oram-panalan' i Libàna? Hita ritra va ny rano avy lavitra, ka mangatsiatsiaka sy mandeha?

La neige du Liban abandonne-t-elle le rocher de la campagne? Tarissent-elles, les eaux des pays étrangers, les eaux fraîches et courantes?

Because my people hath forgotten me, they have burned incense to vanity, and they have caused them to stumble in their ways from the ancient paths, to walk in paths, in a way not cast up;

Fa efa nanadino Ahy ny oloko, ka ho an' ny sampy no nandoroany ditin-kazo manitra; Ary nanafintohina azy teo amin' ny lalany ireny; dia ny lalana fahagola, handehanany amin' ny sakeli-dalana madinika, dia amin' ny lalana tsy voavoatra,

Fa ny oloko kosa efa nanadino ahy; ny tsinontsinona no tolorany emboka manitra, ka avezivezin' ny sampy izy ireo eny amin' ny làlany, dia amin' ny làlana fahataloha, handehanany amin' ny sakeli-dàlana, dia amin' ny làlana tsy voasoritra;

Or mon peuple m' a oublié! Au Néant ils offrent l' encens; on les fait trébucher dans leurs voies, dans les sentiers de jadis, pour prendre des chemins, une route non tracée;

To make their land desolate, and a perpetual hissing; every one that passeth thereby shall be astonished, and wag his head.

Mba hahatonga ny taniny ho figagana sy ho zavatra mampisitrisitra mandrakizay; Izay rehetra mandalo azy dia ho gaga sy hihifikifi-doha.

Mba hahatonga ny taniny ho lao, sy ho zavatra fandatsa mandrakizay; dia hitanaka izay rehetra handalo ao, ary hikifi-doha.

pour faire de leurs pays un objet de stupeur, une dérision perpétuelle. Quiconque y passe est stupéfait et hoche la tête.

Jer / Jr 18:17

I will scatter them as with an east wind before the enemy; I will shew them the back, and not the face, in the day of their calamity.

Toy ny fampielin' ny rivotra avy any atsinanana no hampielezako azy eo anoloan' ny fahavalony; Hiamboho azy Aho, fa tsy hanatrika azy, amin' ny andro hahitany loza.

Toy ny fanelin' ny rivotra avy atsinanana no anelezako azy, eo anoloan' ny fahavalony. Ny lamosiko fa tsy ny tavako no hasehoko azy ireo, amin' ny andro hiharan' ny loza aminy.

Tel le vent d' Orient, je les disperserai face à l' ennemi. C' est mon dos et non ma face que je montrerai au jour de leur ruine.

Jer / Jr 18:18

Then said they, Come and let us devise devices against Jeremiah; for the law shall not perish from the priest, nor counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophet. Come, and let us smite him with the tongue, and let us not give heed to any of his words.

Dia hoy ny olona: Andeha isika hihevitra izay hamelezana an' i Jeremia; fa tsy ho tapaka tsy akory ny lalàna avy amin' ny mpisorona, na ny saina avy amin' ny hendry, na ny teny avy amin' ny mpaminany. Aoka ny vavantsika ho enti-mamely azy, ary aoka tsy hohenointsika akory izay teniny.

Dia hoy izy ireo: Andeha, hiray tetika hamely an' i Jeremia isika; fa tsy ho faty ny lalàna ao amin' ny mpisorona, na ny hevitra ao amin' ny hendry, na ny tenin' Andriamanitra, ao amin' ny mpaminany! Andeha hasiantsika amin' ny vavantsika izy, ary aza manongilan-tsofina amin' ny teniny isika.

Ils ont dit : "Venez! Machinons un attentat contre Jérémie, car la Loi ne périra pas faute de prêtre, ni le conseil faute de sage, ni la parole faute de prophète. Venez! Dénigrons-le et ne prêtons attention à aucune de ses paroles."

Jer / Jr 18:19

Give heed to me, O Lord, and hearken to the voice of them that contend with me.

Mihainoa ahy, Jehovah ô; Ary mihainoa ny tenin' izay miady amiko

Atongilano amiko, ny sofinao, ry Iaveh, ary henoy ny feon' ireo mandrafy ahy!

Prête-moi attention, Yahvé, et entends ce que disent mes adversaires.

Jer / Jr 18:20

Shall evil be recompensed for good? for they have digged a pit for my soul. Remember that I stood before thee to speak good for them, and to turn away thy wrath from them.

Ratsy va no havaly ny soa? Fa efa nihady lavaka hamandrihana ahy ireo. Tsarovy ny nitsanganako teo anatrehanao nitaraina ho azy hampiala ny fahatezeranao aminy.

Dia ratsy va no havaly ny soa, no dia mihady lavaka ho an' ny fanahiko izy ireo? Tsarovy ny nitsanganako teo anatrehanao, hiteny aminao mba ho azy ireo, hampiala ny hatezeranao amin' izy ireo!

Rend-on le mal pour le bien? Or ils creusent une fosse à mon intention. Rappelle-toi comme je me suis tenu devant toi pour te dire du bien d' eux, pour détourner loin d' eux ta fureur.

Jer / Jr 18:21

Therefore deliver up their children to the famine, and pour out their blood by the force of the sword; and let their wives be bereaved of their children, and be widows; and let their men be put to death; let their young men be slain by the sword in battle.

Koa aoka ho mosarena ny zanany, ary atolory ho amin' ny herin' ny sabatra izy, ka ho foana anaka ny vadiny sady ho tonga mpitondratena; Ary aoka ny lehilahy lehibe aminy haripaky ny aretina, ary ny zatovony ho fatin-tsabatra amin' ny ady.

Koa amin' izany hatolory ho amin' ny mosary ny zanany, ary afoizo ho amin' ny lelan-tsabatra izy ireo! Aoka ny vehivavy ao aminy dia ho faty anaka sy ho faty vady; aoka ny lehilahy ao aminy ho fatin' ny pesta; ary ny zatovo ao aminy ho fatin-tsabatra amin' ny ady!

Abandonne donc leurs fils à la famine, livre-les à la merci de l'épée! Que leurs femmes deviennent stériles et veuves! Que leurs maris meurent de la peste! Que leurs jeunes soient frappés de l'épée, au combat!

Jer / Jr 18:22

Let a cry be heard from their houses, when thou shalt bring a troop suddenly upon them: for they have digged a pit to take me, and hid snares for my feet.

Aoka hisy fidradradradrana ho re ao an-tranony, raha mitondra miaramila iray toko any aminy tampoka Hianao; Fa efa nihady lavaka hamandrihana ahy izy sady nanafim-pandrika haningorana ny tongotro.

Aoka ny fidradradradrany ho re avy ao an-tranony, rahefa tonganao tampoka ao aminy, ny andian-jirika mitondra fiadiana. Fa efa nihady lavaka hamandrihana ahy izy ireo; sady efa nanafi-pandrika eo anoloan' ny tongotro.

Qu' on entende des cris sortir de leurs maisons, quand, soudain, tu amèneras contre eux des bandes armées. Car ils ont creusé une fosse pour me prendre et sous mes pas camouflé des pièges.

Jer / Jr 18:23

Yet, Lord, thou knowest all their counsel against me to slay me: forgive not their iniquity, neither blot out their sin from thy sight, but let them be overthrown before thee; deal thus with them in the time of thine anger.

Fa Hianao, Jehovah ô, no mahalala ny fisainana rehetra ataony hamelezany ahy ho faty; Aza avela ny helony; Ary aza vonoina tsy ho eo imasonao ny fahotany, fa aoka ho solafaka eo anatrehanao izy; Mameleza azy amin' ny andro fahatezeranao.

Ary fantatrao avokoa, ry Iaveh ô, ny fiokoan' izy ireo hamonoany ahy. Aza mamela ny helony; aza vonoina eo imasonao ny fahotany; fa aoka hitambotsitra eo anatrehanao izy, ary hasianao amin' ny andro fahatezeranao.

Mais toi, Yahvé, tu connais tout leur dessein meurtrier contre moi. Ne pardonne pas leur faute, n' efface pas leur péché de devant toi. Qu' ils s' effondrent devant toi, au temps de ta colère, agis contre eux!
