We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.

Ka noho izahay mpiara-miasa aminy àry dia mihanta aminareo izahay mba tsy handray foana ny fahasoavan' Andriamanitra hianareo;

Et puisque nous sommes ses coopérateurs, nous vous exhortons encore à ne pas recevoir en vain la grâce de Dieu.

(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

Il dit en effet : Au moment favorable, je t' ai exaucé ; au jour du salut, je t' ai secouru. Le voici maintenant le moment favorable, le voici maintenant le jour du salut.

Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:

But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,

Au contraire, nous nous recommandons en tout comme des ministres de Dieu : par une grande constance dans les tribulations, dans les détresses, dans les angoisses,

In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;

By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,

By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,

As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;

pour gens obscurs, nous pourtant si connus ; pour gens qui vont mourir, et nous voilà vivants ; pour gens qu' on châtie, mais sans les mettre à mort ;

As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

Nous vous avons parlé en toute liberté, Corinthiens ; notre coeur s' est grand ouvert.

Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels.

Tsy tery aminay ianareo, fa tery ao am-ponareo ihany.

Ny ato anatinay tsy mba ety ho anareo, fa ny ao am-ponareo no netenareo,

Vous n'êtes pas à l'étroit chez nous ; c' est dans vos coeurs que vous êtes à l'étroit.

Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged.

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Ne formez pas d' attelage disparate avec des infidèles. Quel rapport en effet entre la justice et l' impiété ? Quelle union entre la lumière et les ténèbres ?

And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

Quelle entente entre le Christ et Béliar ? Quelle association entre le fidèle et l' infidèle ?

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Quel accord entre le temple de Dieu et les idoles ? Or c' est nous qui sommes le temple du Dieu vivant, ainsi que Dieu l' a dit : J' habiterai au milieu d' eux et j' y marcherai ; je serai leur Dieu et ils seront mon peuple.

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Ary ho Rainareo Aho, ary ianareo ho zanako-lahy sy ho zanako-vavy, hoy Jehovah Tsitoha (Isa. 52. 11, 12).

dia horaisiko hianareo, ka izaho ho Rainareo, ary hianareo ho zanako lahy sy ho zanako vavy, hoy ny Tompo mahefa ny zavatra rehetra.

Je serai pour vous un père, et vous serez pour moi des fils et des filles, dit le Seigneur tout-puissant.
